NRL: Canterbury Bulldogs vs New Zealand Warrios

NRL Round 3 2017
Venue: Frosyth Barr Stadium
Match: Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs vs New Zealand Warriors

Technically a 'home' game for the Bulldogs but it's in Dunedin (New Zealand) due to sponsorship bullshit. Anywho, we have a few changes to both lineups. Bulldogs minus Hopoate and Holland with replacements in Abbey and Montoya who in my opinion make this side a little more dangerous in attack. The warriors lose RTS with Lolohea back but have Vatuvei back. Bulldogs have not won this season and the Warriors are 1-1. Bulldogs lost 28-24 last week against the Roosters but I think that scoreline is more flattering towards the dogs. In all seriousness, most of those points were off Roosters turnovers in their own 20m and it feels as though there isn't much change to the attack that we saw last year, lacking any real spark. The Warriors themeselves have been far from convincing with a tight win against Newcastle in a game where they let the knights back in after a commanding win and a loss to the Storm in tough conditions. Bulldogs were +6 and are now a +1.5 with the exclusion of RTS and the public hammering the Dogs. Nonetheless, I think if the Warriors can maintain their high completion rate from last week (86%) and convert off their attacking flair and brilliance, they should win this game. Big "IF" but with the line almost at a pick-em, I will take it and play the warriors.

My Recommended Play: Warriors -1.5 LOSER
